Open mSupply is multi-user at every facility. Even on Android tablets. We think this is cool enough to make a Youtube video about it
In case you didn’t watch the video: this means you can use an Android tablet as a server, and that you can connect a second computer or tablet to your server over the local network or over the internet.
We often encounter a site that wants to run their vaccines separately to their general medicines. Or sometimes they have separate workflows for sexual & reproductive health commodities. mSupply allows you to do this. Each store has its own list of users who can log on, and separate permissions from another store.
A program is a a separate work stream within a store – usually to handle one disease, or one type of care (e.g. HIV, or Family Planning). mSupply allows you to make unlimited master lists that link items to a program, and schedules that allow different programs to support different ordering cycles.
Each user in mSupply has their own permissions, or can be assigned to a group and then that person inherits the permissions set for the group.
